TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS 2018 Council Remuneration Committee Request for Members of the Public to Form a Committee The Township of Georgian Bluffs is reviewing the compensation paid to Members of Council for their public service to the community – including: evaluation of honorariums, per diem meeting rates, mileage, meals, etc. Important Information: •Three citizens of the Township are required to form the Committee •Committee members will conduct a compensation review to comparable municipalities and file a report with recommendations prior to September 1, 2018 •No per diem will be paid for meetings, but a mileage allowance will be paid to the members of the Committee Interested persons are asked to submit their qualifications and a letter or email of interest to the Clerk by February 16, 2018.
