NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT TAKE NOTICE that the Committee of the Whole (Planning) of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., in the Municipal Council Chambers at 402813 Grey Rd. #4 to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended. The purpose of this Amendment is to update the Zoning By-law for the Municipality of West Grey by correcting a few errors and omissions that have been detected since the By-law was adopted in 2006 and incorporate new Minimum Distance Separation (MDS) policies as per new Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) guidelines. A Key Map is not provided due to the number of properties subject to this by-law. Any person may attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of West Grey before the bylaw is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Municipality of West Grey Council to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Municipality of West Grey before the bylaw is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
