Municipality of South Bruce REVISED REQUEST FOR TENDER FOR THE ADDITION & RENOVATION of the MILDMAY CARRICK RECREATION COMPLEX Sealed Tenders will be received by the Municipality of South Bruce until 1:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, March 21st, 2017. Tenders are to be delivered to the Municipality of South Bruce office, located at 21 Gordon Street East, Teeswater, Ontario to the attention of Laura Christen, Recreation and Facilities Manager. SCOPE OF WORK: A 617-square foot addition and interior renovation for new viewing areas and barrier-free accessibility of the existing arena. Construction to be steel frame, concrete foundation, slab-on-grade, pre-cast concrete floor slabs, concrete block and masonry veneer, steel cladding and roofing. Sitework is limited to replacement of concrete sidewalks. Mechanical, plumbing and electrical to be included in the tender. When submitting the Tender, the following will be required: - List of qualified subtrades - List of similar projects - Bid bond or certified cheque payable to the Municipality of South Bruce - Agreement to bond (or certified cheque in lieu) - Contractor’s estimated time to complete the project - Mechanical subcontractor’s quotation including detailed specifications - Electrical subcontractor’s quotation including detailed specifications - Failure to provide the above may result in the rejection of the tender Prior to award of contract, 50% material and 50% labour and 50% performance security bond to be submitted to the Municipality, OR a certified cheque in the amount of $50,000.00 made payable to the Municipality of South Bruce will be accepted in lieu of bid bond. Contractor to submit cheque with sealed Tender.
